Relevant Arctic events provide an arena to interact with stakeholders, which is key to identify and gather information on knowledge gaps in the Arctic. These events include conferences, workshops, seminars and other meetings.
The APPLICATE user engagement team is actively attending events such as the Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavik (Iceland), the Arctic Frontiers conference in Tromso (Norway), the Arctic Change conference (Canada), the Arctic Science Summit Week, and others.
APPLICATE also participates in the user engagement task group of the EU-Polar Cluster, a network of different EU-funded H2020 projects focusing on the Arctic and the Antarctic.
This initiative has the aim to enhance synergies between the user engagement strategies of the Cluster projects through an effective coordination and to facilitate the joint organisation of side events and participation in conferences.
